Iwona Chmielecka-Gomes

Iwona Chmielecka-Gomes is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in accounting and finance. Currently serving as a Financial Accountant at UCD Foundation since January 2021, Iwona is responsible for monthly management accounts, income and expenditure analysis, grant tracking, bank reconciliations, payroll processing, and statutory audit management. Prior to this role, Iwona spent over a decade at UPS, progressing from Assistant Accountant to Senior General Ledger Accountant, where responsibilities included intercompany transaction processing, balance sheet reconciliations, and coaching junior team members. Iwona holds qualifications from ACCA and Dublin Business School, and earned a Master Degree of Arts in Pedagogical Studies from the University of Lodz.
