Herb Buchanan

Herb Buchanan possesses extensive experience in hospital system operational and strategic leadership, currently serving as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for AdventHealth Great Lakes Region since November 2018. Concurrently, Buchanan holds the position of Senior Vice President and Regional Operating Officer at AMITA Health. Prior roles include leadership positions as President and Chief Executive Officer at Methodist and University Hospital, Chief Executive Officer at Howard University Hospital, and various senior executive roles at the University of Maryland Medical Center and Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
