Helia Melo is an experienced volunteer and professional with a diverse background in community support and engineering roles. Currently serving as a Volunteer at UCKG HelpCentre since September 2019, Helia focuses on assisting individuals in crisis and fundraising efforts. Previous roles include a Pump Engineer (Electromechanical) Work Experience at Kier Group, Field Agent/Warrant Officer at Resolvecall Ltd, and Customer Support Advisor at bp, each demonstrating technical skills and customer service expertise. Additional experience as a Community Volunteer at TROAN LTD and various positions in hospitality, logistics, and administration highlight Helia's commitment to community service and effective communication. Helia holds a Bachelor's degree in Oil & Gas Management from the University of Plymouth and completed additional training through City & Guilds in 2022.

UCKG HelpCentre it's an UK registered charity dedicated to helping people to change their lives. From the encouraging messages in the multiple meetings every day of the week, to the accessible advice that is available free of charge, and even to the smiles that you receive from everyone you meet, you will never leave empty-handed. The UCKG HelpCentre is open seven days a week with four meetings available throughout the day during the week, so that you have the freedom to attend at a time that is convenient for you.
