Avital Harari

Avital Harari, MD, MBA, MSc, FACS, is a prominent figure in the field of endocrine surgery, currently serving as a Professor of Surgery and Vice Chair of Ambulatory Surgery at UCLA Health, along with roles as Governing Director of Ambulatory Surgery Centers and Chair of Retention and Recruitment on the EDI Committee. With extensive leadership experience, Avital co-founded the Women in Surgery Group and is actively involved with the INTERNATIONAL SOCIETY OF SURGERY US CHAPTER as Vice President and Chair of the Membership Committee. Contributions to the medical community extend to editorial roles, including as Social Media Editor for the Thyroid journal.
