Daniel Duel

Daniel Duel, MD, currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at PsychBright Health since March 2023 and holds the position of Medical Director at Recover since April 2021, where responsibilities include creating and implementing innovative clinical protocols for virtual addiction care and supervising a team of case managers and therapists. Simultaneously, Daniel has been providing psychiatric and addiction treatment at Jewish Family Services and working with a comprehensive care team at Alcott Center for Mental Health Services since September and July 2020, respectively, focusing on underserved populations including individuals with legal histories and those experiencing homelessness. With extensive training spanning multiple specialties, including Geriatric and Addiction Psychiatry during a residency at UCLA Health, Daniel’s experience also includes treating severely mentally ill patients and proficiency in various therapeutic techniques. Daniel earned a Doctor of Medicine from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA in 2018 after completing a Bachelor of Science in Physiological Psychology/Psychobiology at UCLA in 2013.
