Lindsay Waters

Lindsay Waters, LCSW, is an experienced clinical social worker currently serving as a Clinical Social Worker III on the Palliative Care Team at UCLA Health since July 2016. Prior to this role, Lindsay held positions as a Clinical Social Worker II at UCLA and worked at DaVita Kidney Care, focusing on counseling and education for dialysis patients. Earlier experience includes serving as a Graduate Student Researcher at UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs and completing a social work internship at the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System, where biopsychosocial assessments and supportive therapy were provided. Lindsay's background also includes outreach and support roles within cancer care, coaching youth soccer, and volunteering in grief support. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Social Welfare from UCLA and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UC San Diego.
