Zhaoping Li

Zhaoping Li, MD, PhD, has extensive experience in medicine and nutrition, holding multiple leadership positions at the VA Greater Los Angeles Health Care System since July 1998, including Chair of the Department of Medicine and Chief of the Division of Hospitalist. At UCLA Health since July 1999, Zhaoping serves as Executive Vice Chair of the Department of Medicine and Director of the UCLA Center for Human Nutrition, among other roles. Zhaoping is also a Council Member of the International Union of Nutritional Sciences and has held past leadership positions with organizations such as the World Association of Chinese Doctors and the American Society for Nutrition. Zhaoping obtained an MD and PhD in Medicine and Physiology from Peking University.
