Albert Bonfil

Clinical Assistant Professor

Albert Bonfil, PsyD, serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor and Clinical Instructor at UCLA since October 2021, complementing a role as Director of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Los Angeles since 2013. Previously, Albert worked as a Clinical Psychologist at UCLA from 2013 to 2015 and as a Staff Psychologist at CBT California from 2011 to 2014. Albert completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Harbor UCLA Medical Center, where responsibilities included providing CBT and DBT to underserved populations, training externs, and developing treatment curricula. Earlier experiences include serving as a Residential Care Manager at 1736 Family Crisis Center and working in various capacities across mental health settings, including crisis intervention and predoctoral training. Albert received education from the American School of Professional Psychology, New York University Psychoanalytic Institute, and Chapman University.
