Fumin Lin currently serves as Associate Laboratory Director and Assistant Professor at the University of California, Los Angeles, since July 2021. Previously, Fumin Lin was a Laboratory Genetics and Genomics Fellow at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia from September 2015 to June 2021, where expertise in clinical cytogenetics and genomics was developed. In addition, Fumin Lin worked as a Clinical Genome Scientist, focusing on clinical analysis of NGS data related to constitutional and cancer cases. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Associate role at Baylor College of Medicine from September 2012 to September 2015, managing a research project on the role of CaMKK2 in liver cancer, and a Postdoctoral Fellow position at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences from September 2011 to August 2012, researching Glis3's functions in β-cell formation from ES/iPS cells. Fumin Lin earned a PhD in Pharmacology and Cancer Biology from Duke University and a B.S. in Biological Science from Tsinghua University.
