Jerry Zack is a Professor and Director of the Center for AIDS Research (CFAR) at UCLA, a position held since July 1987. Prior to this role, Jerry Zack was a Graduate Student at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas from 1980 to 1987 and also at California State University, Long Beach from 1977 to 1980. Jerry Zack earned a PhD in Immunology from the UT Southwestern Medical Center and the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, completing the degree in 1987. Earlier academic credentials include a Master's degree in Microbiology from California State University, Long Beach, obtained in 1980, and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from UC Irvine, completed in 1976.
