Juan Hernandez, MSIOP, is an experienced leader in veterans affairs and public policy, currently serving as the Director of Veterans Initiatives & Partnerships at the University of California, Los Angeles, where responsibilities include facilitating veteran-related programs and managing relations within and outside the university. Additionally, Juan holds the position of Vice President of Government and Public Affairs at Our Way Home, overseeing legislative monitoring and advocacy, as well as serving as Vice President for the Los Angeles National Cemetery Support Foundation, focusing on fundraising and donor relations. Juan's previous roles include serving as a CA-52 Field Representative for the U.S. House of Representatives, engaging in community-focused leadership through LEAD San Diego, and providing healthcare case management within veteran services. With a strong educational background that includes a Master’s degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology and ongoing doctoral studies in Management at the University of Phoenix, Juan brings a comprehensive skill set to support veterans and community initiatives.
