Julia Adams

Julia Adams is a PhD student at the University of California, Los Angeles, focusing on aging and age-related disorders through plasma proteome analysis since September 2022. Previously, Julia served as a Research Associate III at Alkahest, Inc. from August 2020 to September 2022, where responsibilities included dosing various compounds and employing cognitive behavior assessments, alongside advanced techniques such as confocal microscopy. Prior to this, Julia gained valuable experience as a Junior Specialist at the University of California, San Francisco, conducting lab experiments related to sensorimotor remapping and training lab personnel in specialized techniques. Julia's academic journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences with an emphasis in Immunology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where roles included Teaching Assistant for an Immunology Lab and Laboratory Technician, managing lab activities and conducting experiments related to hormonal influences on behavior. Additionally, Julia completed an internship at NASA, focusing on the effects of simulated microgravity on bone structures.
