Tiffany E. Barber is an Assistant Professor of African American Art at the University of California, Los Angeles, since July 2022, with prior experience as an Assistant Professor at the University of Delaware from August 2018 to September 2022. Tiffany has served as a Curatorial Assistant at Laumeier Sculpture Park, contributing to the organization of the "Mound City" exhibition in 2014, and held various roles including Project Coordinator at Watts House Project and Administrative Assistant at the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority. Earlier positions include Research and Curatorial Assistant at Outpost for Contemporary Art and Internships at LA><ART, Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibitions, and Collage Dance Theatre. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Visual and Cultural Studies from the University of Rochester, a Master's in Public Art Studies from the University of Southern California, and a BFA in Dance/Urban Studies from Fordham University.
