Sara García Gómez

Sara García Gómez has extensive experience in the fields of biochemistry, molecular biology, and technology transfer. Currently serving as a Board Director at Bloomsbury Genetic Therapies since August 2022, Sara also holds the position of Senior Business Manager at UCL Business Ltd since September 2018. Previous roles include positions at The Francis Crick Institute, where responsibilities spanned translation research, project management, and research fellowship focused on DNA damage response. Sara's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Universidad de Málaga. Early career experience includes a Ph.D. project on genome stability at CBMSO and an internship in the Genetic Department at Universidad de Málaga, where foundational laboratory skills were acquired.
