Ben Follis is the Co-Founder at Uclusion. Prior to that, they were an Applications Engineer at Machinify, Inc. from March 2021 to March 2022. Full Stack developer working in React and Python. Ben was also with Adobe Systems from July 2009 to February 2019 as a Senior Computer Scientist II. There, they were responsible for the Adobe Sign storage subsystem, maintained Adobe Sign document processing pipelines, and was a major contributor to Adobe Sign service security model. Additionally, they were responsible for migrating the Adobe Sign service from hosted data center to AWS native. This included creating AWS targeted build automation tools, porting devops infrastructure to new AWS environment, porting the main server code to run in cloud environments, and migrating hundreds of millions of documents to AWS storage. Furthermore, they improved key customer visible performance metrics by 30-300% depending on workflow. Lastly, they were also responsible for the Webhook layer and associated SSL subsystems, as well as being a technical reviewer and informational resource for new hires. Before Adobe Systems, they worked as a Design Engineer at Zmanda Inc from December 2007 to May 2009 and as a Sr. Programmer Analyst at State University of New York from August 2004 to August 2007.

Ben Follis received their M.S. in Computer Science from University at Albany, SUNY and their B.A. in Computer Science from Gustavus Adolphus College. Ben is certified by the FAA as a Private Pilot - ASEL and by the FCC as a Ham, General Class.
