UCM co-founder Dr. Michael Bibighaus has been on the front lines of emergency medicine for more than 15 years. A board-certified emergency physician, Michael earned his medical degree from Johns Hopkins University, where he was named Chief Resident of Emergency Medicine. In addition to guiding UCM’s breakthrough approach to quality care, Michael is currently an emergency medicine physician at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady, NY, and he was the Assistant Director of Emergency Medicine for a regional emergency department for eight years. He has also had the tremendous privilege of participating in medical missions to Cameroon and Kenya.
