Alexandra Porras

Alexandra Porras is a dedicated professional in the field of social work, currently serving as a Medical Social Work Intern at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals since September 2023. With a rich background in counseling and child services, Alexandra has held various roles, including On-Call Residential Counselor at Hamilton Families since November 2022 and Part Time Package Center Supervisor at UPS since October 2017. Previous experiences include internships and positions with the San Francisco Unified School District, Hamilton Families, Palo Alto Community Child Care, and others, providing support in educational and residential settings. Alexandra is pursuing a Master of Social Work (MSW) at San Francisco State University, building on a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
