Benjamin Speidel

Benjamin Speidel has a diverse work experience in the field of medical imaging and neuroscience. Benjamin currently holds the position of Epilepsy Presurgical Lead Engineer at UCSF Medical Center. Prior to that, they worked as an Associate Specialist at the University of California, San Francisco, from November 2017 to December 2019. Benjamin also served as a Graduate Student at UCSF from September 2016 to September 2017. Before that, Benjamin worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator at Washington University School of Medicine, where they contributed to the development of tools and methods for image processing in a clinical setting. Benjamin also has experience as a PACS Engineer at BJC HealthCare, where they collaborated with informatics professionals to improve imaging workstations and software, and as a Siemens Research Intern, where they gained further skills in the field. Benjamin began their career as an intern at Washington University in St. Louis.

Benjamin Speidel holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Biomedical Imaging from the University of California, San Francisco. Benjamin completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in General Engineering with a focus on Bioengineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign between 2009 and 2013.
