Dax G.

Dax G. is a Licensed Psychotherapist at Divergent Worlds Psychotherapy and Consultation since January 2023, under the supervision of Rachel Robbins, Psy. D., and also serves as Recreation Therapist III at UCSF Health since July 2022. Previously, Dax G. held various roles including Associate Psychotherapist at Queering Therapy, Mental Health Clinical Specialist at Contra Costa County, and Mental Health Specialist Trainee at UCSF Citywide Case Management. Dax G. has extensive experience in providing individual therapy, case management, and facilitating Dialectical Behavioral Therapy programs, focusing on clients with severe mental illness and co-occurring disorders. With a Master's degree in Social Work from California State University - East Bay and a Bachelor of Music in Music Therapy from the University of Iowa, Dax G. has developed and led therapeutic programs across diverse settings, including rehabilitation facilities and community outreach initiatives.
