Julie Cox

Director, UCSF IT Service Desk at UCSF Medical Center

Julie Cox has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Julie started their career at Coopers and Lybrand as a Supervising Consultant from 1983 to 1987. Julie then joined Stanford Hospital & Clinics/LPCH as the Director of Information Systems from 1994 to 1997. Julie worked at UCSF Medical Center next, where they held two positions: Director, IT Customer Service from 1997 to 2012, and later as the Director, UCSF IT Service Desk from 2012 onwards. Julie also worked at HIMSS northern california as the Director of IT Customer Service from 2004 to 2010. Additionally, Julie spent several years as a parent at The Laurel School from 1998 to 2007.

Julie Cox obtained an Associates degree in Mathematics from the University of Florida between 1965 and 1968. Later on, they pursued a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, which they completed between 1980 and 1981.
