Michael Schrader

Michael Schrader, MD, PhD, has extensive experience in internal medicine and currently serves as Physician/Medical Director for Saint Francis and St. Mary's Clinics at UCSF Health since July 1995, in addition to being a Volunteer Clinical Professor at the University of California San Francisco. Michael holds leadership experience as the Past President of the San Francisco Marin Medical Society, and as Physician/SF Medical Director for Dignity Health Medical Foundation from September 2020 to August 2024. Michael is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and has an educational background that includes a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, a Doctor of Philosophy from Carnegie Mellon University, and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Colorado State University.
