Nida F. Degesys

Nida F. Degesys, MD, FACEP, currently serves as a Board Member for California ACEP and holds the position of Assistant Medical Director at the University of California, San Francisco's Parnassus Emergency Department since August 2018, where responsibilities include overseeing the Clinical Decision Unit. As the inaugural EM Administrative Fellowship Director, Nida Degesys designed and developed the fellowship curriculum. Additionally, Nida Degesys is the Medical Director of the Age Friendly Emergency Department at UCSF Parnassus, recognized as the first Level I Geriatric ED in Northern California. Involvement extends to the American College of Emergency Physicians as a Board Member of the Geriatric Emergency Department Accreditation Board and past Board of Directors member for the San Francisco Medical Society. A distinguished academic background includes a Doctor of Medicine from Northeast Ohio Medical University and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Ohio University.
