Priyanka Chary

Priyanka Chary is a Senior Bioinformatics Developer and Data Administrator at UCSF Health since February 2023. Prior roles include serving as a Teaching Assistant and Course Grader at Boston University, where responsibilities encompassed assisting with Applied Genetic Analysis and grading for Molecular Biology and Biochemistry courses. In a co-op position at Biogen, Priyanka developed R Shiny applications that employed SQL for data querying on Databricks and gained expertise in GWAS studies and data visualization techniques. Earlier research experience includes work as an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of California, Santa Cruz, focusing on point mutations related to Haemophilia and honing skills in various molecular biology techniques. Priyanka Chary holds a Master of Science in Bioinformatics from Boston University and a Bachelor of Science in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
