Samantha Gill has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Samantha started their career as an intern in finance at Isle of Man Assurance in 1995. Samantha then worked as a financial analyst at Darden Restaurants from 1996 to 2000, before moving on to The Gap Inc as a senior financial analyst from 2000 to 2001. Samantha then joined Key3Media as a business unit controller from 2001 to 2003 and then Media Live as the director of finance from 2003 to 2005. In 2005, they joined UCSF where they held various roles, including business operations manager and associate director of client services and analysis, until 2015. Samantha also served as an advisory board member at GreenLid from 2015 to 2016. Currently, they are the director of revenue cycle strategy at UCSF Medical Center, a position they have held since 2019. Additionally, Samantha is also a board member at Bay Area Video Coalition since 2019. Throughout their career, Samantha has demonstrated leadership, strategic thinking, and expertise in financial analysis and client services.

Samantha Gill has an MBA in International Business and Finance from the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College, which they completed from 1994 to 1996. Samantha also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from the University of Houston, which they obtained from 1990 to 1993. Samantha has a high school degree from Allen Academy. Additionally, they obtained a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification from AAPC in 2014.
