Sian Shumway

Director, IT Customer Service at UCSF Medical Center

Sian Shumway has held various leadership positions in IT customer service throughout their career. Sian started in 2008 as a Manager of Client Services at UC Berkeley, and then moved on to become a Manager of Campus Technology Services at the University of California Berkeley in 2009. In 2012, they became the Director of Customer and IT Field Services at UCSF, and then transitioned to the role of Director of IT Customer Service at UCSF Medical Center in 2014. Sian has a proven track record of providing exceptional customer satisfaction and implementing best practice IT customer service solutions. Additionally, they served as the Treasurer at Asian Community Mental Health Services from 2007 to 2012.

Sian Shumway holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English Language and Literature from the University of California, Berkeley.
