UCSF Cardiac Camp Curriculum Development And Counselor at UCSF Medical Center

Steven Huang is an accomplished research intern at Stanford University’s Dodd Lab, specializing in uric acid metabolizing genes among anaerobic gut bacteria. With significant involvement in the American Red Cross since 2019, Steven has held various leadership roles, including National Youth Council National Collegiate Assembly Lead and Youth Services Coordinator, facilitating youth engagement and promoting volunteerism on a national scale. Experience also includes curriculum development for UCSF Health’s Cardiac Camp, contributions to the education committee at mcbUSA, and creative work as a photographer for Spoon University. Steven is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology at the University of California, Berkeley, with prior volunteer experiences including surgical support at Sutter Health and youth mentorship at San Mateo High School.
