Susan Alves-Rankin

Susan Alves-Rankin, RN, MS, has extensive experience at UCSF Medical Center, serving in various leadership roles since 1983. Currently, Alves-Rankin is the Nurse Project Manager, a position held since August 2016. Prior to this role, Alves-Rankin was the Assistant Director of Patient Services and Service Excellence from July 2011 to July 2015, and Director of Patient Relations from 1990 to 2011. Alves-Rankin began their career at UCSF Medical Center as Nurse Manager for General Surgery and Liver Transplant from 1983 to 1989. Susan Alves-Rankin holds a Master of Science degree in Administration from the University of California San Francisco.
