Maeve (Meadbh) Joyce (Seoighe) has extensive experience in business development and management, currently serving as an Enterprise Executive at Údarás na Gaeltachta since October 2008, assisting businesses in the Gaeltacht region. Previous roles include General Manager at Galway Film Centre, Owner of Lola Gray Galway, and Finance & Marketing Controller at City Direct Bus Services. Maeve has also held positions as a Board Member of Galway Chamber of Commerce and Marketing Manager at both Central Park Group and Telegael Corporate Television. Educational qualifications include an MBA, a Diploma in Marketing Practice, and a B Comm in Marketing, all from the University of Galway.

Déanann an tÚdarás gach iarracht an cuspóir seo a bhaint amach trí fhorbairt fiontraíochta agus tionscnaimh chruthaithe fostaíochta a chothú agus a mhaoiniú, chomh maith le tacaíocht a thabhairt d’eagrais phobail agus d’imeachtaí teangabhunaithe. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Údarás na Gaeltachta’s role as a regional development authority is to stimulate job-creation by supporting and encouraging the development of enterprise in the Gaeltacht. The employment created helps to stabilise Gaeltacht communities and thereby strengthen Irish as a living language in the Gaeltacht. The authority endeavours to achieve that objective by funding and fostering a wide range of enterprise development and job creation initiatives and by supporting strategic language, cultural and community based activities.
