Courtney LeGates

Courtney LeGates is an educational leader passionate about innovative learning solutions. They began their career as a classroom teacher at the Oakland Unified School District from 2009 to 2014, later serving in various leadership roles at Code Nation and KIPP NYC. Currently, they are focused on instructional strategy and partnerships at Udemy, where they continue to promote accessible quality learning experiences. Courtney holds a Multiple Subjects CLAD Teaching Credential and is pursuing degrees in Psychology and Communication Design at Washington University in St. Louis, along with executive education at Columbia Business School. When not engaged in their work, Courtney enjoys exploring local farmers' markets and cooking.
