Joseph D. Fisher

Joseph D. Fisher is the current Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at UDR. Prior to their current position, they served as the Co-Head of the Americas and Co-Lead Portfolio Manager in the Real Estate Securities group for Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management from May 2004 to December 2016. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing investments in various real estate sectors includingmulti-family, student housing, manufactured housing, single family rental, lodging, industrial, net lease, timber, and specialty finance.

Before their time at Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management, Joseph Fisher was an Asset Management Analyst at Principal Financial Group from June 2003 to May 2004.

Joseph Fisher has over 15 years of experience in the financial industry and has a proven track record in portfolio management and investment analysis. Joseph holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Iowa State University.

Joseph D. Fisher has a MBA from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management with a focus in finance, analytical finance, and accounting. Joseph also has a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Iowa with a focus in finance, accounting, and entrepreneurship.
