Alexandra Soares

Unilateral Broadcast Services Manager at UEFA

Alexandra Soares has extensive work experience in the broadcast industry, with a focus on coordinating and managing services for major sporting events. Alexandra started their career as an Assistant Administrator at Confederacao do Turismo Portugues in 1999 and worked there until 2004. Alexandra then transitioned to the broadcast industry, working as a Booking Coordinator for Euro Broadcast Services in 2004 and as a Booking Front Office Coordinator for HBS Host Broadcast Services during the FIFA World Cup 2006. Alexandra continued their involvement in major sporting events as a Booking Coordinator for DAGBS during the 15th Asian Games in Doha in 2006 and as a Booking Coordinator for UEFA during Euro 2008 in Austria-Switzerland from 2007 to 2009. Alexandra joined HBS Host Broadcast Services again in 2009 as a Coordinator for Booking during the FIFA World Cup 2010 in South Africa. Alexandra then moved to UEFA, where they held various roles, including Venue Operations and Broadcast Manager for the UEFA Europa League and later as a Broadcaster Services Coordinator. Alexandra'smost recent role was as the Unilateral Broadcast Services Manager at UEFA Events S.A., where they were responsible for account managing all UEFA rights-holding broadcast partners, defining unilateral services and strategy, and contributing to the global Broadcasters Services strategy.

Alexandra Soares attended Tavira, where they did not pursue any specific degree or field of study. Following their time at Tavira, they enrolled at Universidade Moderna de Lisboa, where they obtained a university degree in International Cooperation & Development Management.
