Alexandre Clerc

Football Operations Specialist at UEFA

Alexandre Clerc has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Alexandre is currently working as a Venue Manager at Lusail Stadium for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. Before that, they had been with UEFA since 2009, first as a Venue Director and later as a Football Operations Specialist. Alexandre also served as the Venue Manager for UEFA EURO 2020 from 2019 to 2021. Prior to their time with UEFA, Alexandre worked as the Deputy Head of Operations for the FIFA Women's World Cup 2019 and FIFA U20 Women's World Cup 2018. Alexandre also has experience as a Venue Manager for France Handball 2017 and UEFA EURO 2016. Alexandre's earlier experiences include working as a PR and media relations freelance consultant, an Account Manager at pga Communication, a Sales Agent at Immobilière de Bouc-Bel-Air, and a League Manager at Top Corner Events.

Alexandre Clerc obtained their Master's degree in Communication, Marketing, and Business from IPAG Nice between 1999 and 2003. Alexandre later earned a certificate in Sports Organizations Management, Marketing, and Volunteers from SOMIT (Sport Organization Management Interactive Teaching) in 2008.
