Angelo Rigopoulos has a wealth of experience in the sports industry. Angelo worked at UEFA from 2010 to 2018, holding various roles including Managing Director of Integrity & Regulatory, Head of National Associations Governance, and Legal Counsel. At UEFA, they provided legal advice on statutory and regulatory matters, analyzed football-related issues, and advised UEFA and its member associations. In 2020, Rigopoulos joined World Triathlon as a Member of the World Triathlon Tribunal. Prior to that, they worked at FIFA as a Legal Counsel from 2010 to 2013. Angelo also served as a Legal Sports Advisor at EuropeanSportService.com from 2007 to 2010.

Angelo Rigopoulos has a Master's degree in Humanities, Management and Sports Law from the FIFA Master - International MA in Management, Law and Humanities of Sport program, which they completed from 2009 to 2010. Prior to that, they obtained a Postgraduate Degree in Law from Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. Angelo'sundergraduate studies were in Legal Studies, which they pursued from 2001 to 2004 at Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna. In addition to their educational background, Angelo Rigopoulos has also obtained certification as an IRONMAN Certified Coach from IRONMAN U in May 2023.
