Aurelien Sagnier

Aurelien Sagnier has had a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Aurelien started their career as a Publishing Assistant Manager at Bordas, maison d'édition du groupe Editis from October 2002 to July 2003. Aurelien then worked as a Freelance Translator at Loquax Traduction specializing in sports, including collaborations with UEFA, Manchester United, FIFA, IOC, Ryder Cup, Dakar Rally, and FIVB.

In 2009, Aurelien joined UEFA as a Venue Data Coordinator. In this role, they were responsible for live data gathering during UEFA matches, including Champions League, Europa League, Women's Champions League, Youth League, EURO & World Cup qualifiers, France A, U21, U19, Women's A, and U17 matches. Aurelien also handled tasks related to the referee's match report, match organization, and UEFA.com matters. Aurelien covered over 100 matches across various cities in France and Valencia.

Aurelien had the opportunity to work as a French reporter at UEFA EURO 2012 from June 2012 to July 2012.

Currently, Aurelien works as a Social Media Specialist at FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, a role they took up in October 2022 and will finish in December 2022.

Aurelien Sagnier's education history begins in 1998 when they attended Lyon and pursued a Master's degree in English literature and civilization. During the same period, they also studied at Lyon 2 and obtained a Maîtrise in LLCE (Langues, Littératures et Civilisations Étrangères). This four-year educational journey concluded in 2002. Later, in 2002, Aurelien enrolled at Paris 7 and completed a DESS (Diplôme d'Études Supérieures Spécialisées) in ILTS (Interpreting, Liaison and Specialized Translation) within a year.
