Benjamin Daub

Benjamin Daub has a diverse work experience in the sports industry. Benjamin has been working at UEFA as a Venue Operations Broadcasting Manager since September 2021. Prior to that, they held various roles at the DFB (German Football Association), including Senior Manager Media Rights & Broadcasting and Manager Media Rights & Broadcasting. Benjamin also had a role in the Competitions Department, where they were responsible for coordinating and organizing the DFB-Pokal, licensing, international transfers, and international matches. Before joining the DFB, Benjamin had an internship in soccer at Urban Rec Vancouver. Benjamin also gained experience in sports sponsorship during their internship at Lagardère Sports. Earlier in their career, Benjamin worked as a part-time employee at the DFB.

Benjamin Daub pursued their education in the field of sports management. In 2009, they enrolled at the University of Bayreuth and completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Sportökonomie in 2014. In the following year, 2015, they briefly attended the University of Bayreuth once again as a guest lecturer, teaching MBA Sportmanagement with a focus on Vereins- und Verbandsmanagement. Later in the same year, they moved to the University of Lausanne - UNIL and obtained a UEFA Certificate in Football Management in 2016. Additionally, in 2011 and 2012, Daub attended the University of Windsor, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Sportmanagement.
