Chris Barnes is an experienced sports scientist and performance consultant with a diverse background in professional sports. Currently serving as a Sports Scientist at UEFA since September 2018, Barnes also holds a position as a Performance Consultant at Brøndby IF since June 2017 and has operated as a Director at CB Sports Performance Ltd since April 2014. Previous roles include Performance Consultant at Nottingham Forest FC and Queens Park Rangers FC, as well as a Sport Scientist at West Bromwich Albion FC. Barnes has significant experience in the Rugby Football League and GB Basketball, and served as Head of Sport Science at Middlesbrough FC, where responsibilities included the establishment and management of an interdisciplinary sports science team.
