Dan Ross has a diverse range of work experience in the media and publishing industry. Dan started their career as an Editorial Assistant at Anthem Publishing Ltd in 2009 and then moved on to work as a Web Assistant at Haymarket Media Group from 2009 to 2010. Dan gained experience in sports journalism as a Staff Writer at Faragher Jones Limited, where they worked on sports titles Calcio Italia and Darts Monthly from 2010 to 2011. Dan also served as the Deputy Editor for Football España, a digital magazine on the 2011/12 Spanish football season, during the same time period. Dan had an internship at The Independent during the FIFA World Cup 2010, where they gained valuable experience in a busy and high-pressure environment. Currently, they are working at UEFA, where they started as a Community Editor/Editorial Assistant in 2011 and has progressed to the role of Social Media Lead since August 2017. In their role, they manage UEFA's 23 social media accounts and coordinates the creation and publication of engaging content to maximize reach, engagement, and website referrals.

Dan Ross attended Fulneck School from 1993 to 2007, where they obtained A-Levels in English Literature (A), Applied Business (B), General Studies (B), and French (C). From 2007 to 2010, they studied at Brunel University London, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English with Creative Writing.
