Fritz Schmid is a seasoned football professional currently serving as a Technical Advisor and Mentor for the UEFA Fitness4Football Advisory Group since March 2021. With extensive experience in coaching and technical development, Fritz has held various significant positions, including Head Coach of New Zealand Men's National Team, Technical Director for the Football Association of Malaysia, and Coach Educator for FIFA. Fritz's qualifications include a Master’s degree in Sport Management from the Johan Cruyff Institute and Bachelor’s degrees in Physical Education & Sport Sciences, German, English, and Journalism from ETH Zürich and the University of Zurich, respectively, alongside expertise as a UEFA Pro Licence Football Coach and FIFA & UEFA Coach Educator.
