Guy Kiala has a diverse work experience in the sports industry. Guy began their career in 2001 as a Uefa Instructor - Coach Educator at UEFA. Guy then worked as a Lecturer at Sport Vlaanderen from 2001 to 2014. In 2010, they founded their own consultancy company called Foresee Consultancy and served as its CEO until 2014.
From 2013 to 2014, Kiala worked as an Assistant Coach at Waasland-Beveren. In 2014, they had multiple roles including being a First Team Coach at Charlton Athletic Football Club, an Assistant Coach and Performance Analyst for the National Team at the Football association Yemen, and a Lecturer in Sport at Foresee.
Following this, Kiala served as the Technical Academy Director at Al-Ahli Saudi FC from 2015 to 2018. Guy then joined Al Ain Sports & Cultural Club in 2018, where they worked as a Football Coach until 2021 and later became the Technical Director in the FS sector until 2023.
In addition to their club roles, Kiala also contributed to the development of football as an instructor. Guy served as the AFC Instructor Head Instructor in the UAE for the Asian Football Confederation from 2019 to 2021.
Overall, Kiala has gained extensive experience and expertise in various coaching and instructional roles within football organizations and consultancy.
Guy Kiala has obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Health and Physical Education/Fitness from Hoger rijksinstituut en normaalschool. Guy later pursued higher education and completed a Master of Public Health degree at USTY in 2018. Additionally, they have also received training in the UEFA PRO LICENSE and AFC PRO LICENSE programs.
