Julien Barut has a diverse work experience in sports marketing and communication. Julien began their career as an intern at Swisscom Directories AG, where they gained experience in marketing and sales. Julien then joined 022 TELEGENEVE SA - NAXOO for an internship.

Afterwards, Barut worked as a Marketing Manager at Genève Sport SA, a sports marketing company in Geneva. In this role, they focused on developing positive relationships between sports entities and financial partners.

Barut then transitioned to UEFA, starting as a Commercial Operations Coordinator. Julien ensured that marketing rights for commercial partners involved in UEFA's main club competition finals and national team competitions were met. Julien also served as a Commercial Operations Specialist.

At UEFA, Barut was promoted to the position of UEFA Champions League Final Sponsor Operations Project Leader. In this role, they led the Sponsor Operations team and project to deliver the commercial rights of the UEFA Champions League Final 2020.

Following their time at UEFA, Barut joined TEAM Marketing AG as a Senior Commercial Rights Manager. Julien managed central communication between UEFA, commercial partners, and internal departments for UEFA Club Competitions.

Currently, Barut holds the position of Head of Partner Rights Management at TEAM Marketing AG. Julien oversees all onsite contractual partner rights and collaborates with UEFA and partners to develop operational procedures and collect onsite information for season and finals planning.

Julien Barut obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics and social sciences from the University of Geneva in 2009. Julien then pursued a Master's degree in the same field at the same university from 2009 to 2011. In 2014, they attended SAWI to study Marketing and Communication, however, the field of study for their degree is not mentioned.
