Kay Cossington

International Youth Elite Player Pathway Consultant

Kay Cossington holds significant roles in women's football, currently serving on the UEFA Women's Football Committee since July 2023, focusing on competition recommendations and development strategies. Cossington has a long-standing association with The Football Association, where responsibilities include serving as the FA Women’s Technical Director and Head of Women’s Technical. Previously, Cossington coached the England Women National teams (U15 - U23) and contributed as a Coach Mentor for FIFA. Contributions to international youth football development were made as an International Youth Elite Player Pathway Consultant at UEFA. Cossington's leadership resulted in the Great Britain Women's Football team winning a Gold medal at the 2013 Games in Kazan, and previous coaching experiences include roles at Millwall Community Trust and West Ham United FC. Cossington earned a Master's degree in Sports Leadership from the University of Buckingham in 2020.
