Leif Smerud is an experienced football manager and psychologist, currently serving as the Manager/Head Coach at Crystal Palace Football Club since March 2025 and as a UEFA Technical Observer since February 2024. Smerud's coaching career includes significant roles with the Norwegian national teams, notably as Head Coach for the National Team U21 and interim Head Coach for the National Team Women, achieving notable results such as qualifying for Euro 2023 and earning a bronze medal in the 2009 Euro.
