Marilyn Schorm has a strong background in event communications and digital marketing. Marilyn began their career in 2009 as a Student Assistant at Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena. Marilyn then worked as an Intern in CRM and New Media at AEG, o2 World Berlin. From there, Marilyn joined Viacom International Media Networks as a Temp PR Comedy & Entertainment and later as an Intern in Communications for VIVA.

In 2017, Marilyn had a secondment at Barclaycard presents British Summer Time Festival, where they managed social media, ticketing, and customer service.
Most recently, Marilyn has been working at UEFA as an Event Communications Specialist and Spectator Communications Specialist. In these roles, they have led event communications projects for key UEFA competitions, including the UEFA Champions League Finale and the UEFA EURO 2020. Marilyn'sfocus has been on delivering an exceptional event experience to ticket holders and fan festival attendees, using fan insights, research, and cutting-edge technology. Additionally, Marilyn has been involved in developing COVID-19 event communications strategies to optimize safety and hygiene factors at EURO 2020. Marilyn has also worked on the development of an industry-leading tournament app to provide personalized experiences for fans.
Marilyn Schorm completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English/American Studies & Intercultural Business Communication from Friedrich Schiller University Jena. This educational achievement took place from 2008 to 2012. In addition, they pursued studies in English, Cultural Studies, and Business at the University of Nottingham from 2010 to 2011.
