Mathieu Guillemin

Mathieu Guillemin has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Mathieu started their career in 2008 as a Juriste/Legal Counsel at the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI), where they handled events agreements, license agreements, sponsorship agreements, and assisted in proceedings before the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

In 2011, they joined Reymond & Associés as an Avocat-stagiaire/Trainee Lawyer, where they were responsible for various civil, administrative, and criminal proceedings. Mathieu represented clients in civil and criminal cases and drafted and reviewed legal documents.

Since 2013, Mathieu Guillemin has been working at UEFA in various roles. Mathieu started as a Corporate Lawyer, responsible for general legal matters. In 2017, they transitioned to the role of Legal Counsel, where they focused on legal advisory. In 2017, they also took up the role of UEFA Venue Director, representing UEFA at match venues and ensuring compliance with all related regulations and procedures. In September 2021, they were promoted to Senior Legal Counsel.

Mathieu Guillemin earned their Master - Licence degree in Droit from the University of Lausanne - UNIL, attending from 2002 to 2006. In addition to their academic qualifications, they hold the Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) certification, which was obtained from the IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals in March 2023.
