Neil Doncaster

Neil Doncaster serves as the Director of European Leagues since October 2023, holding the position of chair of the Board’s Remuneration Committee from 2024. Currently, Doncaster is the first chair and a non-executive director of the Scottish Women’s Premier League, a role initiated in May 2022. Previously, Doncaster was a member of UEFA’s Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body and Legal Committee from June 2018 to June 2020. As the Group Chief Executive of the Scottish Professional Football League since June 2013, Doncaster has driven significant changes, including the successful re-merger of Scottish leagues and the introduction of a new governance structure. Additionally, Doncaster has served as a non-executive director of the Scottish FA since March 2018, representing the professional game. Doncaster holds a Law degree from the University of Bristol and an MBA from the University of East Anglia.
