Robin Russell is a seasoned football development consultant with extensive experience in grassroots and elite youth development across various organizations. Since June 2005, Robin has served as a Football Development Consultant for UEFA, focusing on grassroots football and mentoring national associations. Additionally, Robin is involved with the Asian Football Confederation, providing consultancy on similar areas. As Chairman and CEO of Sports Path International Ltd, and in advisory and consulting roles for various projects in Rwanda and with MAHD Academy, Robin continues to influence football development internationally. Previously, significant contributions were made at The Football Association, where Robin founded FA Learning and led numerous education and coaching initiatives from 1978 to 2005. Educational qualifications include a B.Ed in Physical Education from the University of Birmingham, an MA in Physical Education from the University of Leeds, and a Diploma in Management Studies in Sports Management and Marketing from Liverpool John Moores University.
