Thomas Junod

Thomas Junod has a diverse work experience in various fields. Thomas worked at UEFA from 2007 to present, holding multiple roles including Head of UEFA Academy, Head of National Associations Education and Research, and Senior Education and Research Manager. In these roles, Junod was responsible for executive education and university relations, as well as managing educational programs for staff and executives of UEFA member associations.

Junod also worked as a Lecturer in Strategic Management of Sports Organisations at the University of Lausanne from 2011 to 2014, where they taught sessions on strategic management and filled in for another professor during their sabbatical.

Additionally, Junod worked as a Coordinator at the International Olympic Academy from 2006 to 2011 and as a Research and Teaching Assistant at the Swiss Graduate School of Public Administration (IDHEAP) from 2005 to 2007. Thomas also served as a Personal Assistant of a deputy at the Swiss Federal Parliament from 2004 to 2007 and as a Scientific Collaborator at the Institut for Economic Research (IRENE) - University of Neuchâtel from 2004 to 2005.

Furthermore, Junod has experience in sports journalism, having worked as a Sports Journalist at Radio Neuchâteloise RTN from 2000 to 2002 and at L'Impartial & L'Express newspapers from 1997 to 2000.

Thomas Junod's education history is as follows:

In 2023, Thomas Junod completed a certificate in Designing and Facilitating Learning Spaces from KAOSPILOT.

In 2019, they attended Singularity University and completed an Executive Program (EP) with a focus on Exponential Leadership.

In 2018, Thomas Junod attended IMD, where they completed a course in Organizational Learning in Action (OLA) with a specialization in Learning & Development.

In 2005, they studied at the Swiss Graduate School of Public Administration (IDHEAP) and focused on Public Policies.

In the same year, they also attended the International Olympic Academy and studied Olympism.

In 2004-2005, Thomas Junod pursued studies in Sport Management at the Swiss Graduate School of Public Administration (IDHEAP).

From 1998 to 2003, they attended the University of Neuchâtel, studying Economics.

Prior to that, from 1995 to 1998, Thomas Junod completed their general education with an orientation in scientific studies at Lycée Blaise-Cendrars in La Chaux-de-Fonds.
