Karen Sim

Karen Sim is a seasoned professional in operations and marketing, currently serving as the Head of Operations and Placemaking at UEM Sunrise Berhad since April 2021. Previously, Karen held the position of Senior Marketing Manager at Quill City Mall, overseeing comprehensive marketing strategies and digital campaigns. With extensive experience in the retail sector, Karen has also managed operations and merchandising for Metrojaya Group, successfully overseeing multiple in-house brands and optimizing profitability across several stores in Malaysia and Singapore. Karen's career commenced in 1995, with a foundation in advertising and promotions, followed by significant roles in merchandising and retail operations. Karen holds a Diploma in Fashion Merchandising from LaSalle International Fashion School and completed Foundation Studies at UNSW.
