Dr. Palma Iacovitti DNP MBA RN serves as the Director of Psychiatric Services at UF Health Jacksonville, bringing extensive experience in healthcare management. Prior roles include Program Manager for Surgical Oncology at Baptist MD Anderson, Nurse Manager for Specialty Oncology Clinic at MD Anderson Cancer Center @ Baptist Medical Center, and Nurse Manager for Transplant Surgical Services at Mayo Clinic. Early in the career, Dr. Iacovitti worked as an Emergency Department RN at St. Mary's Medical Center. Educational qualifications include a Doctoral of Nursing Practice in Health Systems from the University of Iowa and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
