David Avery Cohen

David Avery Cohen, MD, is currently an Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery Resident at UF Health since 2023 and serves as a Senior Editor and Executive Board Member for The Auricle - Otolaryngology. David has a background in medical education, having completed a Doctor of Medicine (MD) at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School from 2019 to 2023, following a Bachelor's Degree in Neuroscience and Behavior as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Jewish History from Columbia University and The Jewish Theological Seminary respectively. Prior experiences include roles as an Associate Researcher at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, a research assistant at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and medical volunteer positions at Jersey Shore University Medical Center and Monmouth Medical Center. David's prior work also encompasses a diverse background in bartending and legal assistance, showcasing a range of skills and experiences.
